For the decision of the set problems Institute uses in its work a unique innovative technology of direct search of mineral deposits called “Deep Vision”®, which functions identically successfully both on land and on shelf.
Modern Matter Condition
At present a tendency can be observed in world practice when rates of prospecting and development of mineral deposits such as hydrocarbons, drinking water, precious metals and a number of other minerals lag considerably behind rates of their consumption by industry.
It can be explained by the fact that the majority of deposits which are in easily accessible territories and bedded relatively not deep, are already prospected and exploited.
Search and development of new deposits is relocated to more and more extreme areas with severe climatic conditions and difficult geological structure, and falls more and more outside the limits of land onto shelves of seas and oceans.
These factors are increased considerably by cost of works and duration of their performance.
Besides, an extremely essential indicator of search and prospecting of mineral deposits is its productivity.
In spite of the fact that modern prospecting companies have good technical “armament”, productivity of search works remains extremely low. Even in best cases this indicator does not exceed 50 % – 60 %. Thus speaks a significant amount of “dry” wells which have not led to discovery of industrial deposits of hydrocarbons and water.
Rather important is that classical methods of geological prospecting are based on traditional approach when, for example, oil and gas are supposed to belong to sedimentary rocks, in particular to traps of anticlinal type.
At the same time, data available at present testifies that in non-standard traps (lithologic and stratigraphic and of mixed type) oil and gas can be found in large quantities.
However traditional methods including space geological prospecting and classical geophysical ones do not provide direct discovery of mineral deposits and detect thickness structure of sedimentary rocks and possible traps for oil and gas. Presence of traps does not mean presence of an oil or gas deposit which defines their rather low efficiency.
“Deep Vision” Technology
The given technology belongs to geophysical methods and is classified as nuclear-magnetic resonance technology.
Unlike traditional geophysical methods, we carry out deep resonant sounding of the earth which reveals type of a mineral and quantitative characteristics of a deposit.
The “Deep Vision” technology is based on such fundamental physical phenomena as nuclear magnetic resonance, Kirlian-effect, information and radio properties of THz range of radio waves (1012 – 1015 Hz).
Their unique combination allows to remotely conduct search and prospecting of deposits of various kinds of minerals on land and sea shelf with better productivity, within short time and at a lower price in comparison with other geological-geophysical methods (Appendix 1).
Technology is patented in Ukraine and approved by National Academy of Sciences, passed out testing in the USA. Тhe equipment is certificated in Ukraine.
