ModERn Subsystem ModERn is a new petrophysically oriented applied statistics/data mining software package. ModERn gives the user: advanced QC tools petrophysical model elaboration a vast petrophysically related library techniques of petrophysical knowledge visualization automatic and interactive clustering, SOM and other data mining technologies tuning of petrophysical relationships to specific geological settings ability to select nonlinear estimation interrelation coefficients ModERn is quite efficient in processing of core measurements data, in choosing the equations set for log information interpretation and estimation. The package designed for specialists in core and log data processing and interpretation is very effective in complex geological settings. Program modules allows: petrotypes' allocation by core and log data comparative study, selection, and construction of different petrophysical interrelations for various petrotypes by visual and statistical methods inverse petrophysical problems solution Optimization assessment programs give good results even for the sections with complex polymineral composition. ModERn package structure allows individual usage of program modules, and package adaptation to other tasks of core and log data interpretation/management.
