Hello Boris Enikeev, The 34th International Symposium of the Society of Core Analysts Lakeway Resort and Spa, Austin, Texas, USA September 21 to September 24, 2020 Symposium Theme: From core to field: Boost the value of core data The 34th annual SCA Symposium will be held at Lakeway Resort and Spa on Lake Travis just outside of Austin, Texas.This year’s conference will kick off with a Short Course “Whole core image data in petrophysical and reservoir engineering workflows”on the morning of September 21st followed by 3Ѕ days of technical sessions including oral and poster presentations. The SCA Technical Committee invites abstract submissions for oral presentations and posters for the following theme-related and other topics. 1.From core to field: Boost the value of core data (whole core imaging, multi-scale integration through imaging, automation of work processes, etc.) 2.Laboratory Core Analysis 3.Improved SCAL Techniques and Interpretation 4.Pore Scale Imaging and Modelling 5.Wettability 6.Displacement Mechanisms/EOR/IOR 7.Unconventionals and shales 8.Coring Operations 9.GeoMechanics 10.Other (If your paper does not fit directly into any of the above then please suggest an alternative topic/theme) Abstracts are due January 26, 2020.Only abstracts submitted electronically at www.scaweb.orgwill be considered for this conference. Call for Abstracts Submission Form The form must be fully completed for each abstract submitted for consideration. The Technical Committee will review all abstracts. For abstracts accepted as Oral or Alternate Oral and Poster with Accompanying Paper a complete manuscript (12 pg limit based on the SCA template) will be required by April 27th 2020.The manuscripts will then be reviewed by the Technical Committee. Authors should note that acceptance of the abstract does not automatically guarantee acceptance of the final manuscript, this will only be confirmed after the completed manuscript has been reviewed by the Technical Committee.
