We are starting our 16th year in a couple of weeks and very proud of being number one in the CISC Open Access Repository Ranking in 2009. Our eLibrary (http://ssrn.com/search) has delivered over 32.5 million downloads to date and grown to 265,000 documents and 129,000 authors - increases over the last year of 51,000 and 24,000 respectively. Our CiteReader technology, developed with ITX Corp, has captured over 5.4 million references, 4.8 million footnotes, and close to 3.4 million citation links. In addition, the number of papers being shared through social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn is growing daily. Our year-end distribution break is scheduled for Monday, 21 December 2009 through Sunday, 3 January 2010. During the break, SSRN's abstracting eJournals will not be distributed while we improve performance of the site. We will continue to provide support for downloads, submissions, and subscriptions. For any requests during the break, please contact customer support at UserSupport@SSRN.com or call toll free 877-SSRNHelp (877.777.6435). Outside of the United States, call 00+1+585+442-8170. I am always interested in your thoughts and feedback on SSRN. We love to hear stories about how SSRN has impacted your life. And we are also interested in anything that has not worked for you at SSRN. Please contact me at Gregg_Gordon@SSRN.com or use our "Feedback to SSRN" link on most SSRN web pages. Thank you again for your continued support and Happy Holidays. Gregg Gordon President Social Science Research Network
