The 24nd International Symposium of the Society of Core Analysts Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, 4th to 7th October 2010

Symposium Theme:
“Core: From Wellsite to Production”

The conference will be held at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel consisting of a workshop and 3 days of technical sessions (including both oral and poster presentations). The workshop and symposium will share the common theme “Core: From Wellsite to Production”, with increased emphasis on activities occurring before and after the core is in the laboratory. The SCA Technical Committee invites abstract submissions for oral presentations and posters for the following theme-related and other topics.

Planning a Coring and Core Analysis Program
Wellsite Coring Operations
Laboratory Core Analysis
Case Studies on the Use and Impact of Core Analysis Data
Improved SCAL Techniques and Interpretation
Wettability
Displacement Mechanisms and Improved Recovery
Pore Scale Imaging and Modelling
Sequestration
Other. (If your paper does not fit directly into any of the above then please suggest an alternative topic/theme)
This year's symposium will include a Young Professionals Best Paper award for a presenter under 36 years of age.

ABSTRACTS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 5th FEBRUARY 2010. ONLY ABSTRACTS SUBMITTED USING THIS ELECTRONIC FORM WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THE CONFERENCE.

(Authors will be notified of acceptance by the mid March 2010)
