I am very honoured to invite you to participate to the First MAPG International Convention, Conference and Exhibition to be held in Marrakech – Morocco, October 28-31, 2007.

This event, officially supported by ONHYM and endorsed by AAPG, hosts two other major events which are the third meeting of the ILP (International Lithosphere Program) and the 3rd Moroccan Jurassic Colloquium. The exhibition services are subcontracted to a professional based in UK (AME Trade Ltd.)

This conference dedicated to the Northwest Africa and inspired to “Revisit the Rocks; Realize the Potential”, includes themes related to technologies and most advanced scientific knowledge in the different domains of hydrocarbon exploration and production notably in deep water areas.

Participation of eminent personalities, experts and professors of the oil industry to this conference is an insurance of high technical and scientific standards. Results of the proceedings of this conference won’t miss to shed new light on hydrocarbon potentialities of the area.

This forum will allow participants to deepen their knowledge on the geology and hydrocarbon potential of sedimentary basins notably of the Northwest Africa and the Circum Central Atlantic in addition to series of Country Sessions full of promise for hydrocarbon exploration and production perspectives.
