RESERVOIR CHARACTERIZATION - CHALLENGES
from the ASIA-PACIFIC REGION
The SPWLA 2008 Joint SE Asia / Japan / Australia Petrophysical Conference will be a forum for technology presentation and open discussion on the Characterization of Reservoirs encountered in the region, extending from Japan to Australia. We will investigate challenges and local field practices from this region as they relate to petrophysics either at exploration, appraisal and or development stage.
The conference will be structured but informal. No written papers or transactions are published. The author's abstracts and released presentation material will be distributed to participants during registration. The oral presentations have been allocated 30 minutes including questions and there will be poster session of 1-1/2 hours. In keeping with conference objectives and practice in other SPWLA- sponsored events, commercialism in all presentations will not be permitted.
Conference fee includes registration, commemorative event gift, Sunday evening icebreaker, Tuesday Dinner cruise & lunches Monday through Wednesday. Hotel accommodation is not included. The Millennium Hilton Hotel has been the site of several successful conferences. Special room rates have been negotiated with the hotel.
